Ardbeg 10 Whisky for a Novice? I like the Peat just the 2 i tried I believe were due to the Poor entry of the alcohol itself. Delivery of drink is most essential for me regardless of type.Bourbon Peat Corn Whisky Malt etc
I want the Woof of Magic Smoke to carry though the alcohol profile unfolding and forming. Not just Assault the front of the mouth and straight to the Head.
Tried
Bruickladdish Peat 7y. Attacks the front instant. And just Burns.Straight to Head. Not forming from anything. Was ultra clean and sea like. Old Pulteney 12y. Rock Hard Firm. form Tang at front of Mouth. Could not even receive it to slide further. Alcohol straight to head. that’s it.
THIS Ardbeg Rates 90 Love the character i read about it and is consistent
ARDBEG 10y a description. Q: So it happens in this order
Really potent peat,
prickly sharpness salty vegetation. Very biological. Slight fruit sweetness at the very tail end of the attack. Very creamy mouthfeel amidst the tons of peat flavor. The finish is, as expected with all this warmth, very long and smoky, but it goes beyond. T
he peat holds out forever, rolling in dry campfire smoke and tiny bits of iodine and oatmeal. There’s a tiny bit of sharpness, you can add a bit of water to tame it, but you’ll overlook out on the ride. Q: How Fast is the Peat from Second of Entry?
SO: i receive moss, creaminess, watering barley, then the Woof of Peat the warms. I want peat coming after a few matters or carrying through them and from the back of mouth not just front assault.
What I have had.
Bruichladdich Peat. 7 year. Attacks sensors in 1 sec. Attack all at front of mouth. Other reviews state it just assults the sensors in a poor way.
OLD Pulteney 12
just drink attack to head in 1 moment. Its also will Reek anywhere it goes Is nothing like reviewed. This is rock Tough and firm. Would not slide down. I could not even receive it at the back on my tongue.
Its fizzy tang at front and I was hoping ( done a lot on poor purchases)for sea fresh liquid gliding down and malty watering barley and then some magic woof of soft peat smoke. Sorry to watery your taste buds. Mine just did.
Thinking of buying next Bushmills 10 (good then bad reviews. can’t work out) Then purchase
DICKEL 12. ( best alcohol i ever tasted. delivery precisely how i want it. purchase either Briuckladdish Rocks. But i prefer straight. I read this is a blend. No way. So Clean. Wow.
Briuckladdish 10y 2nd edition. Poor reviews.
ARDBEG 10y.

I must praise you on your ability to describe tastes. I am not very good at it, and can barely tell you what I like approximately any given wine. That said, I am sorry, I know nothing approximately Whiskey. My few encounters with it have been limited to the mundane, Jd and Jb. I did not care for either…
