Going through high school without drugs or alchohol as a philosophical test? So I plan to never smoke or alcohol like everyone else in high school, i already went my freshman year without doing it but a lot of my friends tried to receive me to join in but I see it as this:
Alochol and drugs will alter my perception of reality, making what I’m thinking and seeing and believing completely different than what I would if I was sober, and I wouldn’t want that, because I want to experience life in the most real and tangible way possible, I want to accept suffering and hurting and not turn to something to get rid of it, I want happiness not to come from getting high. You could call it masochism, because i almost feel like seeing how much I can take before needing to turn to something like drink or drugs.
I don’t know, i’ve just been reading too much Camus i imagine.
xXsynicalXx, that’s precisely why i’m doing this, life sucks yeah it does, particularly when you live some suburban plastic life where every teenager thinks they’re rebelling by partying and its pathetic
