What is your opinion approximately the medicinal and health benefits of wine they say that a glass of wine at dinner is good for the elderly and I myself know that some Dubonnet Rouge has done me a world of good on a rainy, blue day and the tiniest nip of Southern Comfort chased absent a really nasty microbe one time
However, I am having difficulty balancing out the question of safety vis-a-vis drink in all different ways, my family history forbidding drink, and my own wish to have a little something I am always hankering after cherry cough syrup but I am sure it is not the thing to have whether I have no cold, so I am thinking Cherry Heering or Schnapps or a Kir Don’t you think it all does more good than harm? Is the drink in a Hot Toddy bad for a bloodless? Could St. Bernard be all
that wrong?
thank you in advance and
>>Merry Christmas<<

Wine and spirits have definite health benefits, when they are consumed in moderation. They have nasty side effects’ when consumed to excess. The same can be said of a lot of foods and drinks (think prune juice or red meat).
So go ahead and enjoy an occasional glass of wine or dubonet. Warm up with a hot toddy on a bloodless afternoon. But don’t use it as an excuse to receive drunk, because that isn’t healthy for you.
