Do you think single-malt scotch can cure just about anything? My older brother has this thing he calls the scotch cure I tried it once when I was getting a bloodless and seemed to work! I think he might be on to something. It’s well documented that peat exhibits strong anti-microbial activity and acts as a preservative. This in combination with the drink might account for it’s almost magical healing properties. A peaty scotch like Lagavulin or Laphroaig seems to work best.
